Serving the Comox Valley
Tree work in Courtenay
Courtenay Tree Removal runs 4 service lines across the Comox Valley: removals, storm and danger trees, stump grinding, and pruning. Every job is planned by an ISA Certified Arborist, and work near energised conductors is held to the approach distances BC Hydro publishes.
Most calls start the same way. A tree is too close to something, or the last southeasterly changed your mind about it. What we do next depends on whether it is healthy, leaning, or already down.
Which service do you actually need?
If the tree is standing and you want it gone, that is a removal. If it came down in a blow, or it is hung up in another tree, it is under load and we plan it differently. If the tree is already down and you are left with the stump, we grind it. And if you want to keep the tree but not the branch over your roof, that is pruning.
Most jobs cross more than one line
A storm call often turns into stump grinding once the trunk is down, and a standing removal regularly gets scoped alongside a pruning check on the trees left behind. The same arborist assesses the site regardless of which of the four lines the job lands under, so nothing gets looked at twice, and one visit usually settles what the job actually needs. Each line is quoted separately even when a job spans two or three of them, so every part of the cost is visible before anything is agreed to. A single call can end with a written scope covering more of the property than the one tree that prompted the call, at no extra cost for the visit itself.
